One of the most difficult decisions you will find while visiting Fredericksburg is deciding where you are going to eat. We can help plan your dining reservations in advance so your entire experience is as smooth as possible.
From authentic German-style dishes, mouthwatering Texas-style BBQ, to new and exciting variations, each bite contains a dash of southern charm and hospitality.
Our recommendations are here to get you started but we welcome you to let us know if you want to go somewhere specific. Tell us what you are in the mood for. We are more than happy to transport you and your group to each destination in your Texas adventure!
Places to try:
One of our favorite places to show off on our tours is the historic Hye Market. Here you will find one of the oldest remaining PO boxes still in operation as well as a delicious sandwich shop and tasting room. Our friend, Jason Cook, is an expert in the area and will give you a first-class rundown on the surroundings and its rich history, all while helping you sample some unbeatable Texas wines and beers from his hand-picked selection. Just about everything you find here is locally grown with the proof in every bite and sip!
We recommend eating before you set out on your wine tour. You won’t have a problem finding a meal that will satisfy a craving you never knew existed!
